I have the ht 40v chainsaw is there a fuse somewhere its completely dead with full batter's
ReplyDeleteThere is a fuse, but the manual doesn't show it's location or what type it is. If you're comfortable taking the chain saw apart, you can probably find the fuse -- just follow the wiring from the battery. The saw has a two-year warranty, so you may be able to take it back to Walmart and get it fixed or replaced.
DeletePush the chain brake all the way forward first then try it. Be sure both batteries are installed when you Then try again. The chain brake in the backward position will make the saw appear nonfunctional. (Dead like a blown fuse)
DeleteI have the same issue I took it apart I used it once the brushes in the motor came apart and destroyed the inside of it obviously a defective part I bet that's what happened to yours as well
